Sous un soleil rayonnant, le Bayern enregistre sa première victoire en disposant de l'AS Roma 2-1 au terme d'un match abouti et archi dominé. Le Bayern a encore touché la barre et s'est fait quelques frayeurs lors de l'égalisation (heureuse) romaine.
